This is the official discussion thread for Draculoid, the monstrous result of one of Dr. Frankenstein's experiments going awry!

After being a hiatus since August, BOA is finally back in development! The main reason why it was on hiatus was because I was working on my Godzilla fan-film Godzilla Returns (click the link to watch the full movie), but now that it's finished, I have started working on BOA again! However, at the end of January, I will start working on the sequel to Godzilla Returns, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, but I will alternate every week between working on that and working on BOA. Here are the things that have happened since the game went on hiatus:

• @Shashi has hired another coder to help me with the current glitches in the game.
• BOA now has a new website! Go to http://brinkofarmageddon.com to check it out! This site has also replaced the Roaring Pixels site.
• Cosbydaf has left the project and won't be doing sprite work anymore. Due to this, after all of the current bugs are fixed, we will find a new sprite artist, and @OgreTusk will fund the sprites we need to finish the demo.

I hope that the demo will be finished by the end of 2017. After the demo is complete, we will launch a kickstarter to fund the rest of the game (one of the reward tiers will also give you the opportunity to get your original monster in the initial release of the full game).

This is a very interesting monster ! I love the art, origin, and abilities! This would be great for one of the updates!

Combat Style: Fast aggressive strikes

Primary Attacks: Skull crush
                             double bite

Secondary Attacks: skeletal stomp
                                 pincer slash

Primary Weapon: Blinding flash

Secondary Weapon: gore spit (spits a load of fleshy sinew muscles fat and bone out of its gaping maw)

Energy Style: punishment (regains energy from being attacked)

Overview: an ancient demon entity once inhabiting the sword of a royal knight it escaped when the knight died and took over the knights body twisting it into the shape it saw more fancy

Origin: Nekhera like most demons was a former angel that fell from heaven however before it went to hell it was able to posses a sword being made by a famous blacksmith at the time this sword became extremely sharp even being able to cut through stone and metal because of this power it was given to the royal order of the Britain knights. When the knights decided who should handle this sword Sir Nathan of Edinburgh was chosen the sword not willing to cooperate killed the other knights and Sir Nathan was blamed for it. Slowly but surrely the demon sword started to corrupt the knight into committing horrendous acts like murder of innocents and **** when the knight grew old the sword sensed its demise no longer having a host it could control it would surely die as well so as a final sacrifice it made the knight commit suicide so it could inhabit a body made of flesh and could live on forever more. when the demon inhabited the fleshy body of the knight it started slowly shaping it to a form it saw more suitable ending in a massive kaiju sized monster with multiple heads and skeletal parts it ravaged over middle ages Britain before it was captured by the high order of popes and sealed away in into the sword it came from

Now we go to the present day the sword being kept in a vault in the vatican of rome however as we all know the age of kaiju has begon and mankind is desperately trying to fight back seeing no other options left to them the governments of the world decided to unleash Nekhera from its prison inside the sword to try and fight the kaiju menace however like expected by the pope the creature turned on them and is now another kaiju the world has to deal with

Energy System: Nekhera regains stamina and energy when attacked

Ranged Combat: Nekhera can spit out a horrible substance made out of grind up bodies from people who have lost their soul and went to hell

Grappling: nether can only grapple others for a short time cause her pincers are not her strong part

Melee Combat: she can bite opponents with both of her jaws one in the back one in the front also she can stomp on them tackle them and slash them with her tiny pincer arms

Weaknesses:  Nekhera is weak to holy types of attacks and flame like attacks also she isn’t very good in melee and can easily be outclassed
