Hello everyone, I've made some minor edits to the game, mostly in terms of enabling Reptilidon (Player-controlled) to fire his projectile (Fireball) by holding down the X button and then pressing C, organising the code to make it easier for me to find what I'm looking for, as compared to code related to one set of attacks being placed somewhere down the list :p, and I have cleaned up the countdown

By the way, for those of you who are interested in testing the current demo build, here is the link for you to download it:

Construct 2 version 255 (the game engine you'll need to run it) can be downloaded from here: - https://www.scirra.com/construct2/releases/r255

Instructions for playing the game are as follows:
Main Menu
- press the X button to choose Menu screen options
- press the Z button to go back to the Main Menu

Battle Mode
- press the Q button to exit to the Main Menu screen from the Battle Mode
- If you press and hold down the X button, Reptilidon will punch and slash before finishing with a bite
- If you press and hold down the Z button, Reptilidon will kick and stomp before delivering a tail whip
- Down and Punch = Crouching Punch
- Down and Kick = Crouching Tail Whip
- Charging (S) = run forward
- Space bar triggers a Rage Attack that depletes your energy bar by 17 points
- Pressing Up = jump up high into the air
- Block (A) = blocks attacks at the cost of some energy

Hello everyone, my name is Shashi, and I have taken over the BoA game's development from G&G (who left the project recently). The name and story of the game is subject to change later down the line, but the core aspect of pitting kaiju against kaiju will remain the same. I'll be posting updates on the game's progress via the Discord channel (limited to 25 uses currently: https://discord.gg/AThGj5S) as well as this thread, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible :)

For those of you who would like to help with testing the game, you can either post your requests up on this thread or send me a private message through this forum's mail/messaging function. Cheers and have a great year ahead! :)

I already owe Erick $50, and I'm sure a redraw won't be free.
Hmm...anyhow, I'm sure he would be willing to redraw it if you explain the circumstances to him, failing which I would gladly pay for the redraw. After all, both me and Ravage had agreed on the design last year, so you'll need to be more careful in future when making a commission with Erick Borja (mostly to avoid the hassle of getting him to redraw certain monsters).

I'll be sure to remind you in case you forget again ;)
I've seen this guy and it looks cool! A yeti/wooly crab with a giant igloo on her back. What is gonna be her color scheme?
Well, we (as in me and Ravage) have yet to decide on her overall colour scheme, so for the moment it'll follow the natural colours of a yeti crab :D

Hi, it's me Mexicankaiju from CKC forums and creator of King Axoloc. I finally decided to join this place.
Hi Mexican, nice to have you aboard! :)

As for me, since I haven't made a proper introduction myself, here's mine:
My name is Shashi, and I've come here from the CKC/Sunstone forums as part of the Brink of Armageddon team. My interest in giant monsters was fostered by watching Ultraman shows, and only learnt about Godzilla from watching the 1998 film set in New York (yes, I know the proper name of the creature is Zilla ;)) and after that, I surfed the web and found out a whole lot more about Godzilla, his allies and foes.

Here's to a merry time together! :D

I played the game for a while, and was terrible as Anguirus at first, mainly because Gezora (the squid kaiju) kept spamming its attacks and pushing me into the corner (which I learnt from to my advantage ;)). My next playthrough was as Mothra, which I completed 100% since she can fly :D (and unlocked Kamacuras).

After that, it was back to Anguirus, and made it to the final level only to get beaten up badly by Monster-X not once, not twice, but THREE times! I gave up after that :/

My final playthrough was as Godzilla, but was not successful because Megalon kept trouncing me, despite my spamming Godzilla's radioactive beam attack :/ . I stopped playing after that.

Well, I got Anguirus at 100%, Moguera at 92% and (oddly enough) Biollante at 90% :D . Why is there no Kumonga on this list!? :p

Hi, I'm not sure which groups I can help out with as I have limited drawing and story skills, but I would love to help out! Maybe I could do a few sketches for the Character Design group and give a few suggestions for the Story Design group? :)

I can't help with making or commenting on sounds nor spriting as I haven't done those before. :(

Hmm. Could you tell us what your username was? It might help shed a little light as to how and why you got banned.

Anyhow, as per G&G-Fan's request on 10 Feb 2016, here is Marghul's new moveset as per the extra attacks:

Punch: Granite Punch
Kick: Spike Kick (A regular kick with an amethyst shard providing a stabbing effect)
Special Attack: Worm Whip
Rage Attack: Sonic Wave (not that it gets angry, since it's incapable of emotions)
Unique Attack 1: Thorn Stab
Unique Attack 2: Amethyst Volley
Down Punch: A punch to the opponent's stomach when crouching
Down Kick: A kick aimed at the opponent's feet, similar to that in Street Fighter

I've made some adjustments to the Down Kick effect, as below:
Down Kick: A kick aimed at the opponent's feet, similar to that in Street Fighter
(the one where you knock the opponent off their feet and they either wince or fall over backwards)
