I wish that they explained that in the movie! It could've made a bit more sense and pile up that empty hole in the movie as well. I wish that I can go see it again, so that I can see where I would place this movie on my ranking for super hero movies.
Antman did the cake to me, but that's just my opinion. ::)
Believe somewhere in the movie either Batman or Alfred mentioned that years of fighting crime had changed him to be a bit more violent due to the pressure of being a hero getting to him. Plus with the whole Joker thing, and this appears in the trailer, I do believe there is something that is hinting at that in the movie somewhere

Funny you should say all of this. If you look at Bubbles sprite sheet you can see that he has all of these things:
1. Different set of moves
2. Hit animation
3. Not sure about that but I'm sure it can be implemented
4. Bubbles has a KO sprite where his dome breaks and he flops around
5. Not sure what will be done with that but Bubbles has his own roar so that got to count for something. Narrator I'm not too sure about though

I've tried playing Magic the Gathering but thing is I just have difficulty learning and understanding all the rules and terms. The basics I know such as fields and some monster effects, even some of the spell cards, but other than that the whole game seems really complex to me.
Yu-Gi-Oh is more my game seeing as I have two decks for it so far, Lightsworn and Elemental HERO, and frankly to me the rules are much more simple and easy to understand and sure some effects may take some time to read but it's worth it for what it brings.
I haven't even tried playing the Pokemon card game, I currently have a bag of those cards sitting around being used for nothing

And that is pretty much my experience of card games

Ah well I'll just think about more but I have my own issues with your issues

1. A mech won't necessarily mean GDF or mutant. A mech could be against the humans, could be of alien nature, it could also be some sort of ancient mech that has been brought back to defend Earth from some magic or something, or perhaps plants took control of the mech
2. Goo can also be the same thing, could be of alien nature, could be controlled by humans, or could have been made by the planet to protect it

PNTHR-A14 is an alien panther turned into a brutal killing machine. His years of hunting and stalking his prey had made his skills in hunting advanced as he is able to come up with numerous strategies to defeat his prey and he is also able to study them mid-combat in search for any possible weaknesses he could use for his advantage.

Bio: PNTHR-A14 was originally an alien panther with 3-tails. They did have somethings other than the tails that separated them from our panthers, one of which was that they had a bit of advanced knowledge, but not to advanced to be able to craft machines. The race is tribal and like our furry animals they usually were born in litters and well he was basically the runt. Life was tough and like all underdog (or undercat, I'm bad at puns) stories he rose to the top, by fighting others. Things got especially got nasty when he began to eat his tribe's enemies whenever they attack, a lot were killed by him in a war between his tribe and another one. Eventually he killed and slaughtered the tribe leader, he attacked him first for he thought he was still a weak link, and so he became tribe leader. Everything was fine, PNTHR-A14 was actually started to calm down, he settled down and everything, until a race of aliens traveled to his planet searching for the most deadliest. That's when they learned about PNTHR-A14. They kidnapped him, from afar by shooting cables into him and dragged him into their ship as they then basically began to experiment on him. Few years later he changed and they basically sent him from planet to planet having him kill off the species residing on them. Then he gained his own conscious from a virus and attacked the aliens, killing them and causing them to crash to Earth. Now thing is, to fight a hunter humanity needs to create their own hunter.
Abilities: PNTHR-A14 uses his speed and cleverness to his advantage coming up with strategies to outcome his prey. Claws and teeth of metal allow him to tear deep into his victims and his three tails allow a beam of energy to strike anyone down.

Eyi Be-Be is a failed attempt at allowing humans to see the unseen. The eye became a creature that was able to harness the powers of the unknown in combat. That's it, what does one expect from an eye?

Bio: Eyi Be-Be is an eyeball that has been experimented on. Scientists tried to create an eye that allowed people to see what was not there and so they were testing it on eyeballs. Some died while others that lived harmed the human being using it. Eventually they got their hands on some new cells and decided to use that to try and create the all-seeing eye. They failed of course and it resulted in the creature now known as Eyi Be-Be

Abilities: The scientists have successfully created something capable of using the unknown though. Since Eyi Be-Be is just an eye it relies on the mystical energy around it to attack its enemies. Whenever it be a physic beam or shadow claws this eye can harness the power of the unknown and unseen.
