What Movie Have You Just Seen?
« on: March 23, 2016, 11:02:54 pm »
A thread to share your thoughts on movies you have just seen.

To start off, I recently watched Groundhog Day and, while I thought it was pretty funny and entertaining, I feel I might've gotten more enjoyment out of it if I hadn't already seen at least three other shows where time loops were played up for drama.

Batman vs Superman

No Spoilers!

I feel that, this was a truly depressing and too series movie. There was one unnecessary scene in there with Superman that I'm pretty sure a lot of you (who have seen the movie) would agree with me on that.
Batman didn't seem so much like what batman is supposed to be. What he does in the movie is VERY un-batman-like. I also see a lot of "plot-holes" in the movie as well, where they could've actually polished it up.

What bother's me the most was that they could've polished the movie months before releasing it, and FYI, they finished making and producing the movie in December, yet, they release it on March. They could've cleaned up and polished some parts of the movie at least!

Overall, do I recommend watching it?
Yes...if you like an action packed movie.

If your the guy who reads the comics, you'll have problems with the movie (like me for example).
If your some casual guy just walking in to see something cool and exciting, then yes, you'll like it for sure 8)

I would put this is spoilers but doesn't seem to be a thing here so...

Potential Spoilers

There is a way that it could be explained why Batman acts the way he does however it is explained in the comic and is slightly teased in the movie, Alfred himself addresses how he is acting I believe. Can't say exactly what it is though but I do remember that in the comics there was a moment where Batman snapped when Joker killed Robin or something like that however the producers have stated that it's from years of being a hero that made him not care for lives anymore but more or less likely something caused him to snap

I wish that they explained that in the movie! It could've made a bit more sense and pile up that empty hole in the movie as well. I wish that I can go see it again, so that I can see where I would place this movie on my ranking for super hero movies.
Antman did the cake to me, but that's just my opinion. ::)

Believe somewhere in the movie either Batman or Alfred mentioned that years of fighting crime had changed him to be a bit more violent due to the pressure of being a hero getting to him. Plus with the whole Joker thing, and this appears in the trailer, I do believe there is something that is hinting at that in the movie somewhere

This weekend I'm going to go see the Civil War movie for my friend's B-day.
Would you guys like to have another "Non-spoiler" movie review?

Also, have any of you wonder why certain characters haven't appeared in the trailer? I already know about some, but if y'all need an explanation, just give me a haller!

Spaceballs

This is a really funny film that I would recommend to anyone who likes comedy and parodies.

Yesterday I watched Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II (my favorite movie).

And today I watched Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S..

These are both really good films. I highly recommend them.
